The ARC has a vacancy for a Strategic Policy Analyst within the Coastal Policy section of the Policy and Planning Department. This important role will be responsible for a wide range of duties including contributing to the development, implementation and monitoring of policies, plans and strategies.
Potential key activities include the following
Overseeing any outstanding resolution of appeals to Plan Change 3 (Wynyard Quarter) to the Auckland Regional Plan: Coastal (ARP:C) and contributing to a multi-party working group coordinating Auckland's waterfront development matters;
Coordinating the ARC's technical input to the Hauraki Gulf Forum;
Assisting with other changes to the ARP:C and with other large coastal projects.
